Our Story

EcoOudh is a premium agarwood house dedicated to preserving the authenticity of natural oudh while creating meaningful economic opportunities for indigenous communities in Northeast India.

Our work is grounded in two core commitments:
Protecting the integrity of original, naturally occurring agarwood
Creating sustainable livelihoods for tribal communities who steward these forests
Unlike many commercial agarwood products in the global market today, EcoOudh focuses on wild or naturally formed oudh, valued for its deep complexity, rarity, and heritage.

Through responsible sourcing and transparent partnerships, EcoOudh connects ancient traditions with modern global appreciation for authentic agarwood.

EcoOudh also proudly supports the initiatives of Eco-Agri Research Foundation (www.ecoagri.in), advancing shared commitments to sustainability, community empowerment, and long-term social impact.

The Essence of Original Oudh

Natural Oudh – The Rare Treasure

True oudh is one of the most precious natural aromatic materials in the world.

It forms when the Aquilaria tree naturally develops resin over many years, often as a response to natural environmental factors. This process can take decades, resulting in agarwood that possesses extraordinary depth, warmth, and complexity.

At EcoOudh, we work exclusively with naturally formed oudh, never artificially induced or chemically inoculated agarwood.

Our Social Impact

Working with Indigenous Communities

EcoOudh is more than an agarwood brand — it is a collaborative journey with the indigenous communities of Northeast India.

We partner closely with tribal communities across: Assam, Tripura & Nagaland

These regions are home to diverse indigenous cultures whose knowledge of forest ecosystems and agarwood traditions has been passed down for generations.
